Quick Start: Your First Client
Set up your first client in Reveto: add their website and documents, generate a knowledge base, connect their Facebook Page, and review the first drafts. You need a Facebook account that administers the client's Page.
Step 1: Add the client's website
- Open 'Data Collection' and stay on the 'Websites' tab.
- Under 'Crawl Website', enter the client's website address.
- Click 'Start Crawling'. The site appears in the list below while Reveto reads it page by page.
On the trial and Professional, a crawl reads up to 100 pages. Business and Enterprise have no page limit.
Step 2: Add documents and chats
- Open the 'Documents' tab and drop in price lists, FAQs, brochures or menus. PDF, DOCX, TXT, CSV, XLSX, PNG, JPG and WebP files are supported, up to 25 MB each.
- Optional: on the 'Telegram' tab, click 'Connect Telegram Account', choose the chats where the client's team answers questions, and click 'Save Selection'. Then click 'Fetch Messages' on the 'Fetch' tab.
- Optional: use 'Google Drive' ('Pick files from Google Drive') or 'Meetings' ('Upload Meeting Notes') for other material.
Step 3: Generate the knowledge base
- Open 'Content Generation'.
- In the 'Choose' step, tick this client's website, documents and chats. Leave out other clients' sources.
- Click 'Continue to Review'.
- Enter a 'Knowledge Base Title', such as the client's name, and set 'Output Language' to the language customers write in.
- Keep the default sections or add your own.
- Click 'Generate Knowledge Base' and wait for 'Knowledge Base Generated!'.
- Click 'View Knowledge Base'.
Step 4: Check the facts
Read the sections on the 'Knowledge Base' page and fix anything wrong or out of date: prices, offers, opening hours, address and booking rules. Replies are only as accurate as this content.
Step 5: Connect the client's Facebook Page
- Open 'Operations' and the 'Messenger' tab.
- Click 'Connect a Facebook Page', then 'Continue to Facebook', and sign in with a Facebook account that administers the client's Page.
- Under 'Choose the Pages Reveto should answer', tick the client's Page.
- Click 'Connect selected'. The button shows how many Pages you ticked, for example 'Connect selected (1)'.
Turn off Instant Replies in the Page's Facebook settings (Page Settings, then Messaging), or customers get two answers. Facebook also signs in with whichever account the browser is logged into. To connect a different account, log out of Facebook or use a private window first.
Step 6: Set how the Page replies
- In the 'Pages' view, open the Page's 'Reply settings'.
- Leave 'Mode' on 'Review before sending' for now.
- Under 'Answer from', choose 'Only these knowledge bases' and tick this client's knowledge base.
- Set 'Tone', 'Instructions' and 'Language'. 'Match the customer' replies in the customer's language; 'Always reply in' uses one language.
- Under 'Guardrails', add words for 'Hand to a human when the message contains' and topics for 'Never answer about'.
- Check the 'Daily reply cap' and 'Business hours', then click 'Save'.
Step 7: Add Instagram and the website chat (optional)
- Instagram: if the Page has a linked Instagram professional account, it appears on the 'Instagram' tab. Turn on 'Reply on @[username]'. If it is missing, link the account in Meta Business Suite (Settings, then Instagram accounts) and reconnect the Facebook account.
- Website chat: on the 'Website chat' tab, open 'Install', click 'Copy', and paste the line just before the closing body tag on each landing page. Add each landing page's address under 'Allowed websites'.
Step 8: Review the first drafts
- Send a test message to the Page from a personal Facebook account.
- Open 'Conversations'. The message shows 'Draft ready', with a 'Suggested reply' and the sections it was 'Based on'.
- Click 'Send'. Or click 'Edit', change the text and click 'Send my version'. 'Discard' drops the draft.
- When the Page's answers are consistently right, open 'Reply settings' and switch 'Mode' to 'Autopilot'.
Sending an edited reply, or writing your own, hands that conversation to you. Click 'Hand back to AI' to return it.
Step 9: Close the gaps
Check 'Insights' every few days. For each question the knowledge base could not answer, click 'Add to knowledge base', write the answer, choose where to save it, and click 'Add to knowledge base'. Then invite your team in Settings, on the 'Team' tab, with 'Invite Members'.
For your next client, repeat steps 1 to 6 with that client's sources and Page, and point the Page's 'Answer from' at that client's knowledge base only. Business allows up to 5 Pages and Enterprise up to 20.
